When a band evolves and lets you down.

It all starts with youtube, chillen at home bored often leads to the searching of new bands, since i get over songs pretty quick playlist on my ipod become vary dated in days. I've discovered a formula, and its working well so far. Goes like this Farmilar song in genre of choice+youtube search+related videos= New band often in same genre. Badda boom badi bing. limewire= New playlist for the next day.

However today this formula, well call it rad formula A. led me back to a familiar band i haven't listen to in a while but a new song. Enter shikara's-juggernauts this is where the disappointment starts. At the site of enter shikara's name images from their sorry your not a winner video clip race through my head, and i remember how i felt when i first heard the song, it was raw, it was rough and it screamed! i remember the vibe the video clip gave, hardcore and underground jamming in a small room, the guys didn't have the stereotypical side fringe of the genre but still look the part. Fast forward to there new song. While it still held true to some of the original sound, slow but with moments of deep sound and speed. It had nothing of the original raw feel of sorry your not a winner. There image could simply be described as sunday school boy attire. Most would call this evolution of the band and there sound. I call it soft. What drove me to the band is loss through there self growth.
